Efusjon is an MLM business opportunity that markets energy drinks like RAW and EDGE. The products available to their distributors have ingredients like Acai berry and caffeine and are packaged to appeal to a younger market. It’s sold in a can like soda, with edgy colors and designs. The Company

Co-founded by Robert Towles, R.S. Edwards, Marc Sharpe, and Kenny Gilmore, Efusjon is one of the few MLM business opportunities that is really leveraging the marketing power of the Internet to make a huge initial impact on social networking sites. That’s not surprising if you consider that the real marketing genius behind Efusjon’s rise is Derek Broes, a former Sr. Executive at Microsoft, and CEO of Kazaa. He obviously knows how to leverage the Internet for all it’s worth.

The Products

Efusjon markets their energy drinks specifically to the young and health conscious with the slogan ”All the energy, without all the health risk.” Efusjon RAW is made from assorted berries; the main one being the Acai berry, which is an extremely powerful antioxidant. Efusjon EDGE formula contsists of vitamins from assorted berries also including the Acai berry, and supercharging it with caffeine and sugar (it’s an energy drink after all, remember).

The Compensation Plan

To join and participate in the compensation plan will set you back $225 for 5 cases of the product. You’re then listed as a business builder and given a replicated website. The compensation plan is based on a forced matrix where distributors can earn up to 4.25% commission on sales volume by getting 3 people into the program and those 3 then get three other people in to the program and so on…

Efusjon has also implemented what they’re calling “community sharing” in their compensation plan. The idea is that other distributors in your upline as well as adjacent to you can place distributors in your downline, but you all earn the same 4.25% commission. It’s designed to reduce competition with other distributors. However, to participate in the compensation plan, an associate must place and maintain the minimum order each month ($120.)

The Verdict

I’m curious to see how long Efusjon will be able to sustain this level of excitement for their products. Although they’ve made some interesting innovations to their compensation plan by instituting community sharing, at some point your circle of friends and family overlaps and it becomes more and more difficult to find people to bring into the program. The normal strategy to deal with that situation would be to expand your network and start marketing your products and your MLM business opportunity online. However, with Efusjon already so active and visible on the Internet, where’s the incentive to go with you, the distributor, instead of just simply approaching Efusjon directly?

It’s absolutely no surprise that Efusjon’s popularity as an MLM business is skyrocketing. Creative marketing using the Internet is a powerful force that anyone with an MLM business would be wise to adopt. No matter what MLM business you choose to go with, knowing how to propel yourself to the front of the line is a crucial skill to make it as an online entrepreneur.
